13 year old female / Available at the Station
Poor Minnie. She was relinquished to the Pasadena Shelter by her owner. We assume it has to do with her age and the fact that she’s blind. This little girl was a mess when she first came to us; she was in desperate need of a good grooming and her eyes were covered with so much crust, it’s a wonder she was able to close them! Although blind, she can definitely still hear. Don’t be fooled by her age; she is a happy, spunky girl with lots of life left in her. Our staff says she has the perfect coat and tail because they’re both so soft. Minnie can be a bit reserved, but given a little time, she warms up and is ready for a good, loving scratch near her perfect tail; it’s one of her tickle spots. She’s great with other dogs and, with human help, likes to take walks – although she’s still getting used to being on leash. We know any home would be lucky to have Minnie.
